Beautiful sunny week

Kalel's new bike and sister who is cheering him on. Disclaimer: The kids fell asleep on their way home from our Easter celebrations and Kalel's birthday was the next day. So, that's why they're in the same clothes and Laylah's hair is CRAZY!

We had some gorgeous weather this week. First off we enjoyed a beautiful walk by a small river right by my house. So happy to have been introduced to this place!
Cute Laylah in her cute glasses. We went with some neighbor friends. Back up, since I've never been I thought sure we can go on a walk. Thinking maybe 1 hour tops. Well it was more like 3? And it was pretty much my first exposure to sunshine this season... I got FRIED! Thank goodness for my Doterra Lavender oil. It saved me! Just mixed it with some olive oil and applied liberally and often. I wasn't ever really in pain. On a side note: The remains of this burn have stayed with me and I really don't think I'm making this up.. The first 2 times anyone in my LIFE has said, "You look tan" to me happened a couple of weeks after this.
We went for a walk to get Kalel's ball he threw over the fence. Laylah of course brought her baby who held her 'green smoothie' for her.

 Funny boy.
Little cutie checkin out her shadow.
Notice, a baby under each arm.
One of these days when I'm caught up on my blog, I will post all of the many home decorating projects I've taken on. Here is my latest pillow. (Truly, Madly, Deeply - Since 2005)
I feel like my Blendtech should have a post of it's own. I'm IN LOVE! I got this for Christmas and have used it close to everyday since. I took a picture the other day because it really is a big part of my everyday life! I make 'green' smoothies almost daily, almond milk a few times a week, soups, pancakes, wheat flour etc. Sigh, I could never go back to anything else. I am 100% happy with this machine. It makes my efforts at being healthy so much easier!
