As always we love the 4th of July weekend, when we are in UTAH! I have loved staying home this summer by the way. We decided to try and make it up to Provo for the hot air balloons. Unfortunately it was not entirely successful. Kyle looked up online to see when they would be launching the ballons. Well let's just say that information was not accurate. We were running a little late but we watched a lot of them go up while driving on the freeway. I love the feeling when walking around in the cool crisp morning air as they blow up the balloons. Feeling and hearing the blasts of fire as they fill up their balloons with hot air. Oh well, there's always next year!
We still watched as some of the ballons tried a few times to make it back to the start. After the one we were watching was blown away for the 3rd or 4th time we decided to head out and walk around. We drove over to where the parade was going to be and parked. Both our kids were sleeping. We let them sleep a bit and rested ourselves.
Then we woke them up for the parade. They sat on the roof of the car and watched. Laylah loved seeing the princesses.
I want to be like these two when I grow up! Husband and wife with these awesome three wheeled bikes and big baskets in the back just cruisin around together. So cute :)
We went home and took a much needed nap - all of us! Then we made our food and hurried back to Provo to Kyle's Auntie Maile's for volleyball, luau, family and fireworks.
Little ice cream on the face never hurt anyone! (she had way too much sugar..)
Me and my Love.
My little tired buddy watching fireworks with me.
Cute girl cousins enjoying the show.
